I absolutely love pretty much anything retro when it comes to tech. The following list details my current moder pc and the vintage devices I own.
Modern
My current PC has the following specs:
- Processor: Intel Core i7-11700K
- RAM: 32 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 RAM
- MOBO: AORUS Z590 Elite AX
- Graphics Card: ASUS GeForce RTX 2060
- Storage: 1TB Samsung 970 EVO M.2 NVMe + 1TB WD Black M.2 NVMe
Vintage
This here is the list that makes the whole point of this page. From newest to oldest, I own:
- Dell Latitude XPi P133ST, running Windows 98 with a PCMCIA Dialup Modem.
- Compaq LTE 5200, currently running Windows 95 with a Xircom PCMCIA ethernet card.
- Apple Newton MessagePad 110, Working.
- Commodore 1571 Disk Drive, unknown condition, as I dont have a drive cable.
- Commodore 128, currently not working, suspect the Z80 Processor has failed.
- Commodore MPS-803, Working.
- Commodore C2N Datasette, Working.
- 2 Commodore VIC20s. One works, the other has a dead VIC Chip.
I hope to add a Commodore SX64 to this list in the future.
